Locomotive Radar Speed Sensor

The Locomotive Radar Speed Sensor uses the Doppler effect to produce velocity data about objects at a distance. The Doppler Radar measures the absolute ground speed which can be reliably used as the reference vehicle speed. By comparing the Doppler speed with each rotating axle speed, the slip/slide can be found out for each axle.
